Linkfest 04-17-2010

It was a week, but it wasn’t such that I did a lot of surfing — at least not the kind of surfing that results in interesting linkage. So, here is what I found that might be interesting.

1. Exact Audio Copy lives and is still useful. I downloaded a copy last Saturday so I could deal with a problem disk.
2. The LAME encoder is also still alive and well. I used to use this encoder ALWAYS when I was ripping and encoding using my Winder$ systems.
3. A LAME binary for a variety of operating systems is also available. Although the LAME developers don’t do the binaries (anymore), they are still available through the generosity of other users.
