Garage Cleanout — Phase II

The last three weekends (I think, can’t really remember) were spent cleaning out 30-some years of accumulation. We worked through 80 percent of the boxes in the garage and reduced our “stuff” by more than 50 percent. My book holdings fell by more than 75 percent. Many are listed on half.com and the remainder were donated to the local library for their annual book sale.

Most of my music-making equipment (amplifiers and effects) either sold on eBay or are in the process of being sold. I’m going to sell two or three guitars as well.

Purging is good. We will be a lot lighter when we’re done with the garage (and the storage unit). Then we’ll start inside the house.
