Working Through the Day

There isn’t much to report right now. I executed the first seminar in my new series yesterday at noon for 27 attendees. The turnout was greater than I expected. I haven’t had a chance to review the exit poll (yet), but am interested in learning what I can do better and what worked well.

The one thing I know is that I was wiped out after the talk. I forgot just how taxing teaching is. I put 100 percent energy into my talks and it was telling. I’m finally recovering, I think.

But, it was worth the effort. I’m ready to get started on my next talk now. In the meantime, I’m editing a report and working on a literature review. I am finally working through a backlog of papers I scanned to PDF a couple of months ago. It is time. I have another slug of papers to scan, but don’t want to start that process until I finish in-processing the current batch.

In fact, I think I’ll work on that next.
